LIMA BEANS WITH MUSHROOMS AND
CELERY
 
2 pkgs. frozen lima beans
1 c. butter
1 med. onion, sliced
5 stalks crisp celery cut into thin slices
1 lg. can mushrooms
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. heavy cream

Cook lima beans according to package directions, drain and set aside. Saute onion, celery and mushrooms in butter. Mix flour, salt, nutmeg and pepper; sprinkle over saute and stir until well blended. Reduce heat and stir in cream to form thick sauce. Add sauce to cooked beans and serve in a hot vegetable dish. Garnish with lots of paprika. Men love this recipe!
