GREEN BEAN CASHEW CASSEROLE 
2 or 3 garlic cloves
3 tbsp. olive oil
1 med. onion, sliced
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. basil
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce or stewed tomatoes
1 c. water
1 pkg. frozen green beans
1/4 to 1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 c. cashew nuts, chopped

Brown garlic in olive oil and discard garlic. Add onion, salt and basil. Cook until onion is soft. Add tomato sauce (or stewed tomatoes) and water and simmer 5 minutes. Add beans and cook just until defrosted enough to separate. Transfer to greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Combine crumbs, cheese and chopped nuts; spread over top. If desired, dot crumb mixture with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes, or until sauce bubbles and crumbs are browned.
