TOSTADO QUICHE 
1 (9") frozen deep dish pastry shell
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 1/2 tbsp. taco seasoning mix
1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, diced
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
4 oz. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. half and half
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Have pastry shell at room temperature 10 minutes. Do not prick pastry. Bake pastry shell 7 minutes. Set aside.

Reduce heat to 375 degrees.

In skillet, combine beef, onion, green chili and taco seasoning mix. Cook over medium heat until beef is brown and onion tender; drain. Layer cheese, then beef mixture in pastry shell. Beat eggs with whisk, add half and half, salt and pepper; mix well. Pour egg mixture over beef mixture. Bake 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with shredded lettuce, tomato, sour cream and olives.
