1 1/2 doz. day-old hot dog or hamburger buns 1 stick butter 3 med. size onions 3 c. chopped celery with tops 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 c. boiling chicken broth or turkey 2 eggs Leave buns out overnight. Crumble into large bowl. Melt butter in large skillet and saute onion and celery until tender. Add to buns along with salt and pepper. Beat eggs in small bowl and add to buns. Stir in enough broth to make a moist mixture. Bake at 350 degrees until done (about 45 minutes). |
