2 c. sugar 1/2 c. water 1/2 c. chopped nuts, (or candied fruit) Pinch of salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 pt. marshmallow creme Boil sugar, water, and salt to hard ball stage (248 to 250 degrees). Place marshmallow creme in a large mixing bowl and stir in hot syrup. continue stirring until slightly stiff (or holds a peak). Fold in nuts or fruits and the vanilla. Drop from spoon onto waxed paper or buttered plate. |
