CRUSTLESS PIZZA 
1 egg
1 lb. ground beef round or extra-lean ground beef
2 tbsp. tomato catsup
1 tbsp. grated fresh onion
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Dried bread crumbs
4 or 5 drops hot red-pepper sauce
4 or 5 mushrooms, sliced
1 oz. sliced pepperoni (optional)
Dried oregano leaves
Salt and pepper
3/4 c. marinara sauce
8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, grated
2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1 green pepper, cut into rings

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Beat egg in a medium sized bowl. Add beef, catsup, onion, Worcestershire, bread crumbs, pepper sauce, 1/2 teaspoon oregano, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Mix thoroughly with a fork. Pat meat evenly in a 12 inch pizza pan. Bake 7 minutes, or until no longer pink. Spread marinara sauce over meat, sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon oregano, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Top with Mozzarella and top of cheese. Bake 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Broil about 3 minutes, until cheese is bubbly. Serve in wedges. Makes 4 servings.
