WHITE CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1/2 lb. white chocolate
1/2 c. boiling water
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. Angle Flake coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. vanilla
4 eggs, separated

Melt chocolate in boiling water; set aside to cool. Cream butter and sugar well. Add egg yolks and beat well. Add chocolate and vanilla. Sift flour and soda together, then add alone with milk. Mix well, then fold in stiffly beaten egg whites, then add pecans and coconut. Make 4 layers. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until top springs when touched.
