OLD FASHIONED GREEN BEANS AND
BACON
 
3/4 lb. fresh green beans, cut, cooked, and drained
8 slices bacon, diced
2 med.-sized potatoes, pared and cut in 1/2-inch pieces
1 sm. onion, sliced
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt

While beans are cooking, fry bacon until crisp. Add potatoes, green beans, and remaining ingredients to bacon and fat (or drain fat). Cook, covered, about 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Yield: 4 servings.
