POTATO CASSEROLE | |
2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed (I use Southern Style Ore- Ida) 1 stick butter, melted 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 pt. sour cream 1/2 c. onion, chopped 1 (10 oz. or 8 oz.) pkg. grated cheddar cheese 1 c. cornflakes, crushed 3 tbsp. butter, melted Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients except cornflakes and 3 tablespoons butter. Pour into a large baking dish, about 13 x 9 inches. Sprinkle with cornflakes and drizzle melted butter on top. Bake approximately 1 1/2 hours. This recipe can be made ahead. |
