WILD PLUM PRESERVES 
Cook fruit first and drain off water. Let cool and pit by hand. (Wash seeds and save water for preserve recipe which follows.)

3 c. fruit pulp
Add water to water that was saved to make 5 c.
5 c. sugar
A little salt

Cook. Stir gently. Add 1 package fruit pectin. Simmer slowly until clear.

Seal in jars.
