INDIAN TURKEY-WILD RICE SKILLET | |
1 (6 oz.) pkg. UNCLE BEN'S® Long Grain and Wild Rice 3 strips bacon, diced 1/2 c. chopped onion 2 c. cooked turkey or chicken, cubed 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced 1 c. frozen green beans, thawed 1 c. frozen corn, thawed Cook rice according to package directions. Fry bacon until well done. Add onion and cook until tender. Stir in turkey, mushrooms, corn and beans. Cook covered over medium heat until mushrooms are tender, 5-7 minutes. Add cooked rice to skillet; mix well. Cook about 2 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste. Makes 4 servings. |
