TURKEY-BROCCOLI BAKE | |
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen chopped broccoli 1 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c. milk 1/2 c. shredded natural Swiss cheese 2 c. cooked turkey cut in strips 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese 1 tbsp. butter, melted Prepare broccoli according to package directions. Drain well, mix with lemon juice. Spread in 9 inch round baking dish. In saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Blend in flour and salt. Add milk all at once. Cook stirring constantly until mixture thickens and bubbles. Remove from heat and stir in Swiss cheese until melted. Add turkey; spoon turkey mixture over broccoli. Combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese and melted butter. Sprinkle over casserole. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until heated through. Makes 6 servings. |
