CHOCOLATE JOY FROSTING 
2 2/3 c. confectioners' sugar, sifted
1/3 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. cocoa powder
1 lg. egg yolk, slightly beaten
1/3 c. shortening or butter

Sift sugar, salt and cocoa into medium bowl. Add egg yolk, shortening and 5 tbsp. hot water. Beat with mixer until smooth. Makes enough for 9 x 13 inch oblong cake.
