CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRIES 
2 boxes confectioners' sugar
1 can sweetened condensed milk
12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
2 sticks butter
4 (10 oz.) jars cherries with stems
4 oz. paraffin wax

Drain cherries and place them on paper towels. Combine confectioners' sugar, butter and milk. Mix well and boil mixture into balls large enough to wrap around one cherry at a time. After wrapping cherries, place them on a platter lined with waxed paper and chill. Melt chocolate and wax in double boiler. Dip each wrapped cherry in melted chocolate mix holding by stem. After dipping, place cherries on waxed paper to cool.
