CHOCOLATE DIPS 
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. chopped dates, optional

COATING:

1/8 lb. paraffin wax
2 tbsp. butter
12 oz. chocolate chips

Mix well peanut butter, sugar, butter, vanilla. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place in refrigerator to chill.

In top of double boiler, melt one package chocolate chips, 2 tablespoons butter, 1/8 pound paraffin wax. NOTE: Melt paraffin first then add chocolate and butter. Dip chilled balls into chocolate then place on wax paper using a toothpick to dip each ball.
