PRETZEL TORTE | |
2 c. pretzels, coarsely chopped 3/4 c. sugar 1 c. butter, melted 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 c. powdered sugar 2 cans pie filling 2 pkgs. Dream Whip or container of already made Mix together pretzels, sugar and butter. Reserve 1 cup for the topping. Pat remaining mixture into the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan. Beat together cream cheese and powdered sugar. Prepare the Dream Whip according to package directions. Blend the cream cheese mixture and Dream Whip together. Put half this mixture into pan on the top of pretzel mixture. Add half the pie filling, then the rest of the cream cheese mixture and pie filling. Top with reserved pretzels and put in the freezer. Set at room temperature for 1 1/2 hours before serving. |
