FROSTED CASHEW COOKIES 
1/2 c. softened butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sour cream
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 3/4 c. chopped cashews

Icing:

1/2 c. butter
1/4 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp half & half
2 c. confectioners sugar

Cream butter & brown sugar. Beat in eggs & vanilla. Combine dry ingredients; add alternately with sour cream, to creamed mixture. Stir in cashews.

Bake on greased cookie sheets at 375°F for 8-10 minutes.

Icing: Lightly brown butter in sauce pan. Cool slightly. Add cream & vanilla. Beat in confectioners sugar till thick and smooth. Frost cookies and top with cashew half.
