TACO SALAD 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 qt. whole tomatoes
2 lb. Velveeta cheese
Milk
Salsa
1 1/2 heads iceberg lettuce
2-3 tomatoes
1 can pitted black olives
1 bag fritos, crushed

Brown the ground beef and drain excess liquid. Add taco seasoning and drained tomatoes. Set aside.

In microwave or saucepan, melt 1/2 to 3/4 of the Velveeta with enough milk and salsa to be the consistency of nacho cheese sauce.

In a large bowl, tear up the lettuce and layer with the chopped fresh tomatoes and sliced olives. Spread the hamburger mixture over tomatoes and olives.

Crush the bag of fritos and spread over the hamburger. Pour the nacho cheese sauce over all. Serve immediately. Serves 10-12 people.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
