GRIDDLE CAKES 
2 c. all-purpose flour
4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. sugar
2 eggs
1/3 c. melted shortening
2 c. milk

Mix dry ingredients together. Add well beaten eggs, shortening and milk. Bake on a hot greased griddle until golden brown and turn. If thinner pancakes are desired, add more milk.
