TAFFY APPLE SALAD | |
6 c. chunked Granny Smith apples (6 to 7 small apples) 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar 1 egg 1 tbsp. flour 1/2 c. sugar 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip 1 c. chopped salted peanuts 1/2 c. pineapple juice Mix sugar, flour, egg, vinegar and pineapple juice in small sauce pan. Simmer over low heat until thick. Let cool. Mix into cooled mix, Cool Whip and 1/2 of the peanuts and the apples (in large mixing bowl). Transfer to serving bowl, sprinkle with remaining peanuts. Chill. |
