TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
1 c. butter
1 c. water
4 heaping tbsp. cocoa
2 c. sifted flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs

Combine butter, water, and cocoa in 2 quart saucepan. Heat to a boil. Stir occasionally. Remove from heat. Combine flour, sugar, and salt in bowl and pour into hot mixture. Beat well. Add sour cream into which soda has been added; add eggs. Mix well and pour into jelly roll pan, 15 x 11 x 1/2 inch. Bake at 375 degrees for 22 minutes.

Ice while hot: 6 tbsp. milk 4 tbsp. cocoa 1 tsp. vanilla 1 lb. confectioners' sugar 1 c. chopped nuts

Combine butter, milk, and cocoa in saucepan. Heat to boil. Stir until mixture bubbles. Remove from heat and beat in sugar and nuts. Spread at once.
