TACO BAKE 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 1/2 c. chopped onions
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (15 oz.) can drained kidney beans
2 tsp. chili powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
12 taco shells
2 c. cheddar cheese
Lettuce, coarsely cut
Tomatoes, cut in pieces

In a 10 inch skillet over medium-high heat cook ground beef and onions about 10 minutes. Stir in tomato sauce, kidney beans, chili powder, salt and pepper. Break taco shells and arrange in a 13 x 9 inch casserole. Spoon in meat mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Top with lettuce and tomato.
