CORN CHOWDER 
1/3 lb. bacon, cut up
1 sm. diced onion
1/3 c. diced celery (optional)
1/4 tsp. salt
2 cans cream style corn
2 cans milk
1 med. diced potato
1/2 c. boiling water

Cook diced potato in boiling water until done. Saute bacon until brown. Drain most of fat off. Saute onion and celery with bacon and drippings until tender. Add remaining ingredients, simmer until hot.
