FRIED CHICKEN 
1 whole chicken, cut up and skinned
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Flour
Bread crumbs (seasoned)
Eggs
Crisco

Wash chicken, pat dry with paper towels. In soup bowl put flour. In another bowl put bread crumbs. In another bowl put beaten eggs, salt and pepper. Dip chicken in flour, then egg and finally bread crumbs. Make sure coating is heavy. Brown in Crisco. Put in skillet on a rack and add 1/2 cup water. Bake in oven for 1 1/2 hours at 375 degrees.
