CHOCOLATE NUT BALLS 
1 stick butter, softened
1/3 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/4 c. cocoa
1 c. chopped nuts
Confectioners' sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Mix flour and cocoa together and gradually add to first mixture. Stir in nuts. Roll between palms of hands, into balls approximately 1" in size. Place on greased cookie sheet. (They won't spread.) Bake 12 to 15 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet, then roll in confectioners' sugar while slightly warm. Makes about four dozen.
