GROUND BEEF AND MACARONI
CASSEROLE
 
1 c. macaroni
2 onions, chopped
4 stalks celery, sliced
1 red pepper, chopped
2 1/2 tbsp. butter
1 lb. ground beef
1 can condensed mushroom soup
1 can water
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp. butter
2 tbsp. chopped parsley

Cook the macaroni in salted boiling water until just tender. Saute the onions, celery, and pepper in the butter for about 5 minutes. Add the meat and cook for another 5 minutes. Mix in the soup, water, salt and pepper to taste, butter, and parsley. Put the cooked macaroni in the bottom of a greased casserole dish. Cover with meat mixture. Cover and cook in a 350 degree oven for about 1 hour. Serves 4.
