FIG CAKE 
2 c. flour (all-purpose)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. oil
2 eggs
2 tbsp. vinegar in 1 c. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. figs, cooked
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped nuts

Cook figs according to package. Cut in small pieces. Cream eggs, sugar and spices. Add flour, a little at a time. Add soda to milk and vinegar. Alternate adding flour with milk to mixture. Add oil, vanilla and figs; mix well. Add nuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes in greased and floured Bundt pan or 13 x 9 inch pan.
