MISS SADIE'S HOMEMADE VEGETABLE
SOUP
 
2-3 lbs. soup bone or stew beef 8:30 a.m.
2 pts. tomatoes, home canned 10:00 a.m.
3 carrots, sliced 10:30 a.m.
1 pt. limas
2 med. onions, diced or sliced
1 pt. garden peas
8 oz. elbow macaroni 11:00 a.m.
1 pt. corn 11:15 a.m.

Add ingredients as indicated. Keep adding water and seasoning as needed. Should be ready by noon. Makes 6 quarts of soup. Add salt 1 hour before it's done.
