HOMEMADE ORANGE-FLAVORED LIQUEUR 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
3 c. brandy
2 tsp. orange extract

1. Dissolve sugar in almost boiling water. Place over low heat for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Allow to cool.

2. Add brandy and orange extract. Pour into container with tight fitting lid. Stir or shake bottle each day to dissolve sugar completely. The liqueur is ready to use in 10 days.
