Cut ribs in half and put 1/2 in bottom of pan large enough to lay it flat. Open kraut and put on top of the half. Put other half on top of kraut, cover. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 2 to 2 1/4 hours. Remove cover, set oven to 400 degrees. Bake uncovered 20 to 30 minutes. Pull out and turn top half over and return to oven for 20 to 30 minutes. This browns top ribs on both sides. Then pull out and tip complete ribs and kraut so bottom is on top. Brown both sides of bottom rib the same as the top. IT's not gooey and it's not hard, it's beautiful. Serves 6.
