CINNAMON APPLES 
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. boiling water
2 tbsp. cinnamon candies
2 tbsp. tapioca
1 tbsp. lemon juice
4 Jonathan apples

Core and peel apples. Combine sugar, water, cinnamon candies, and lemon juice. Bring to boil. Add apples and cook until done (10 minutes) drizzling syrup over fruit. Remove apples.

Measure 1 cup of syrup mixture; add tapioca and cook until thick. Add apples. Can be served warm or cool.
