CINNAMON APPLES 
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. water
1/4 c. red cinnamon candies
4 lg. eating apples

Syrup: Boil sugar, water, and cinnamon candies until candy is dissolved. Pare and cut apples into thin slices. Put apples into syrup and cook until apples are soft. Take apples out and place in a baking dish. Pour syrup over and put in oven until apples have a glazed look (20 minutes).
