SALTED PEANUT BARS 
3 c. flour
1 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. brown sugar

Mix as for pie crust and press in 12 x 15 pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately spread filling on.

FILLING:

1/2 c. white syrup
1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. water

Stir well until melted. Remove from heat and stir in 1 pound peanuts. Spread on baked mixture. Return to oven and bake 6-8 minutes or until top is bubbly. Cut into bars when cool.
