CRAB CAKES 
1 lb. crabmeat, flaked
3/4 c. cracker crumbs or bread crumbs
1 lg. egg, lightly beaten
2 tbsp. minced onion
2 tbsp. mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
3/4 to 1 1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground pepper
Bread crumbs and oil for frying

With fork, mix together all ingredients except bread crumbs and oil in a medium bowl. Form into 3-inch patties and roll in additional bread crumbs. Heat oil in skillet or deep fryer to 375 degrees. Fry patties until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels and serve.
