RAISIN JUMBO COOKIES 
2 c. raisins
1 c. water

Boil for 5 minutes. Set aside to cool.

1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. flour
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream shortening and sugar together add raisins, water and beaten eggs. Sift dry ingredients mix well. Drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet pan. Bake at 375 to 400 degrees.
