JELLIED PORK AND GARLIC | |
4 boneless pork chops 4 or 5 fat garlic cloves 3 env. Knox Gelatin (unflavored) 3/4 cup liquid 3/4 cup boiling water 1 tsp. salt fresh ground pepper (optional) In large pot, bring garlic, pork chops and 1 teaspoon salt to boiling, and simmer for a few hours. Drain, cool, and remove any bits of fat. Break up pork with a fork. Add more garlic, to your taste. Empty pork into a glass loaf pan, make sure the garlic is mixed in. Next add salt if needed, add the prepared Knox gelatin (3 packs Knox, 3/4 cup liquid (any) and 3/4 cup boiling water). Cover. Cool, and refrigerate. Add fresh ground pepper, if desired. Enjoy!
