GRANDMOTHER'S PEPPER RELISH 
1 doz. green bell peppers
1 doz. red bell peppers
3 large onions
boiling water
2 pt. vinegar
2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. salt

Chop onions and peppers in large pan. Cover with boiling water. Let stand 10 minutes then drain. Cover again with boiling water; let stand 10 minutes, then drain well. Mix together vinegar, sugar and salt. Pour over pepper mixture; cook for 15 minutes. Pack in jars while hot and seal.

Makes approximately 6 pints.
