PEPPER RELISH (HOT) | |
6 lg. green peppers, sweet 6 red peppers, hot 6 onions 1/2 c. parsley 1 c. sugar 2 tsp. salt 2 c. vinegar Remove seeds from peppers and chop fine with onions and parsley. Cover with boiling water and let stand 5 minutes. Drain and add sugar, salt and vinegar. Boil slowly for about 15-20 minutes. Seal in jars. Especially good with home baked beans or fish cakes. Also makes a pretty gift. |
