SWEET AND SOUR HALIBUT 
1 c. white vinegar
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. tomato catsup
1 c. apricot nectar (canned)
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Simmer 30 minutes.

1 tsp. cornstarch mixed with 1 tsp. water
2 c. cubed pineapple (canned)
2 peeled med. tomatoes (sections)
1 c. cubed green pepper

Thicken with the cornstarch then add remaining ingredients. Keep hot.

STEP 2:
1 1/2 lb. halibut, cut into 3/4 cubes
3 tbsp. cornstarch
3 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. soy sauce
Salt and pepper

Prepare halibut cubes, mix cornstarch, water and soy sauce to a paste. Dip halibut cubes in this and coat lightly.

Deep fat fry until golden brown. Place on serving dish and cover with sweet and sour sauce. Serves 6.
