1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
6 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
1 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter. Cool slightly. Sift in dry ingredients. Add eggs and mix. Add vanilla. Preheat waffle iron to medium heat.

Put 1 tablespoon batter on a small section of the waffle iron. Bake 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Spread with a vanilla icing.
