CHOCOLATE WAFFLE IRON COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/3 c. finely chopped nuts (optional)
3/4 c. cocoa
4 eggs
Pinch of salt

Drop by rounded teaspoons on hot waffle iron. Bake 1 to 1 1/2 minutes.

FROSTING:

2 2/3 c. powdered sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
1/3 c. soft butter
3-4 tbsp. milk

Stir until well blended. Frost cookies when cool. May add chopped nuts on top, if desired. Makes about 50 cookies.
