SUMMER SALAD 
2 c. shell or plain macaroni
1 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. orange juice
1 (16 oz.) can fruit cocktail
1 c. miniature marshmallows

Cook macaroni in boiling water until tender (do not over cook). Drain. Add butter and blend well. Cool slightly. Add fruit cocktail and orange juice. Chill 1 hour or overnight.

Add marshmallows when ready to serve. Add more fruit and marshmallows if desired, or a few chopped pecans for a new twist.

This recipe need no salt, and there is enough sugar in the fruit and marshmallows. A very good dish for picnics, and will keep in refrigerator several days.
