FROSTY APPLE BITES 
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. butter
1 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. pared chopped apples

Sift together flour, salt, baking soda and nutmeg. In another bowl cream butter then add brown sugar. Blend in egg and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and evaporated milk to creamed mixture. Stir in walnuts, apples and chocolate morsels.

Drop by teaspoonful on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

CINNAMON GLAZE:

2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 tbsp. melted butter
2-3 tbsp. evaporated milk

Combine all four ingredients and mix until of spreading consistency. Frost cookies while warm.
