TAFFY APPLE FONDUE 
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
1/4 c. evaporated milk or half and half
1 tbsp. butter
3 med. apples, cut into bite-size pieces
1/2 c. chopped peanuts or pecans

Combine caramels, milk and butter in 1-quart microwave safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH 2-3 1/2 minutes. Pour mixture into 1-quart fondue pot. Serve, heated, with cut apples, skewers and nuts. Dip apples into fondue, then into nuts. Makes 1 1/2 cups fondue.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
