4 lbs. whiting fish 1 box Jiffy cornbread mix 1/2 c. oil Salt and pepper to taste 1 brown lunch bag 1. Wash and clean fish. Sprinkle salt and pepper on each piece of fish. Put one box Jiffy corn bread mix in brown lunch bag. 2. Heat oil on top of the stove. While oil is heating place fish in the cornbread mix and shake. When the fish is coated place fish in hot cooking oil. Brown on the skin side first then turn the fish over and brown on the other side. 3. Take fish out of pan and enjoy. |
