SOUTHERN PIE DESSERT | |
1/2 c. or 3/4 c. grape nuts 1/2 c. warm water 3 eggs, well beaten 3/4 c. sugar 1 c. dark corn syrup 1/8 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 3 tbsp. butter, melted 1 unbaked 9 inch pie Combine grape nuts and water until absorbed. Combine eggs and sugar. Add syrup salt, vanilla and butter, fold in softened cereal. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake until filling in puffed. Serve with topping or whipped cream. Or just plain. |
