VINEGAR PIE 
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
1 sm. pat butter
1/2 tsp. lemon extract

Mix sugar, egg, vinegar and flour or cornstarch in water using a saucepan (or double boiler), stirring constantly. Cook until thick and smooth. Just before removing from heat, stir in butter and lemon extract; and pour into baked pie shell.
