SWEET DOUGH PIES 
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
3 eggs
1/2 c. milk
5 c. flour
3 tbsp. baking powder

Cream sugar and butter until fluffy. Add eggs and milk, alternating the two ingredients. Mix flour and baking powder. This mixture must be added. Refrigerate overnight. Separate into five balls. Roll out on floured surface. Put in pie pan trimming off excess dough. Enough dough should be left to turn edge over after favorite filling has been poured into the pie. Strips of dough can be added to the top of the filling as decoration. Bake 350 degrees until pie is golden brown.

Fillings that can be used are fruit preserves, fresh fruit and chocolate, vanilla and coconut custards.

NOTE: The pie dough balls can be frozen indefinitely and taken out one at a time as needed.
