FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. cake flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 can fruit cocktail & juice
1 c. brown sugar
1 can coconut
1 c. nuts, chopped

Combine sugar, eggs, flour, soda, salt, fruit cocktail and juice. Mix well and pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Make mixture of brown sugar, coconut and nuts. Sprinkle on top of batter. Bake 45 minutes at 325 degrees.

ICING:

1 stick butter, melted
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. evaporated milk

Combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil. Boil 1 1/2 minutes. Spoon over warm cake.
