CHOPPED APPLE LOAF 
1 1/2 c. unsifted flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. coarsely chopped apple
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Grease and flour loaf pans. Two 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 or three small pans. Sift flour, baking soda and salt with spices. In large bowl, beat until smooth sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla. Slowly beat in flour mixture. Stir in apples and nuts. Turn into prepared pans. Bake at 350 degrees. Wait 10 minutes before turning out.
